There is also a large public pool complex with two huge circular pools, one for toddlers, a play park and picnic area as well as a bar/restaurant. Life guards are in attendance whenever the pool is open. Throughout the summer there are shows, dances and other events provided by the local council outside the bar for everyone to enjoy. Cullar is well known for the fabulous Moors & Christians fiesta the last weekend of April every year with parades, funfairs, outdoor bars, dancing and bands for four days with groups travelling from all over Spain to participate.
